Confirmation Email Troubleshooting at ForSaleByOwner.caIf you did not receive the confirmation email when registering for a private seller, buyer, or realtor account, first go to the login page. One way of getting there is to mouseover the "My Account" link in the main navigation, then click on "Log In" in the dropdown menu.
Underneath the big, green "Log In" button, you'll see a link about not receiving the confirmation email. Go ahead and click on it. Read through the highlighted typical scenarios to see if your case may be listed. It's surprisingly common how many people get their own email address mixed up. If you have an email address ending in "yahoo.com", for example, are you sure it doesn't actually end in "yahoo.ca"? Make sure you can currently receive email from the account you signed up with.
If you're sure everything is good, you can re-type your email address into the form and click on the "Re-Send Email" button. Check your email and look for a subject line that looks reads "ForSaleByOwner.ca - Welcome!" (if you're a private buyer or seller), or "Realtor Referral Network - Welcome!" (if you're a realtor.) Open up the email and click on the verify link to confirm your account.
