Thank you for visiting our COVID 19 information page. We will provide relevant links to information available from Health Canada, and the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) as it becomes known to us.

Our services are fully available Canada-wide. In many areas of Canada, we are quickly becoming one of the best, AND SAFEST ways to sell your home during these difficult times many homeowners are now facing.

We say "safest", because when you sell with For Sale By Owner you are in 100% control of who enters your home for the viewings, making you the best line of defense against any "symptom-showing" buyers or agents who may be rummaging through your home. Many people don't realize this; but the fact is even before COVID-19, most of our sellers already insisted on being present in the home when the buyers were viewing the property.

And today, if someone shows up to tour your home and you don't like the look of things or the vibe you are getting, you simply say "sorry folks, we will have to do this another way because I don't feel good about this". That's it. Nothing else happens. You can't get into trouble, even if the buyer is standing there with an agent and there is a confirmed viewing appointment. You are the boss - you call all of the shots. Period.

We remind all clients to practice safe selling techniques when interacting with buyers and the buyers' agents when one is representing the buyer. Please see below for the latest updates from our government and CREA.

We wish all of our users a safe and successful sale of their property.

COVID-19 Property Viewing Consent Form - from CREA

As provinces and territories begin to loosen COVID-19 restrictions, REALTORS® may start to receive requests from potential buyers to view properties for sale or rent.

To assist REALTORS® and their clients in mitigating the risks associated with such requests, CREA has prepared a template form that asks potential buyers to confirm, among other things, that they do not have any COVID-19-related symptoms.

The form also outlines how contact information collected may be used by the REALTOR® and their brokerage.

Please note that use of the form is optional. Where forms have been prepared in the REALTORS®' jurisdiction by their regulator, board, or association, such forms should be used instead.
